This publication is the result of a book-residency of 14 days Mathias Forbach & Thomas Koenig did at Knust/Extrapool. It’s part of Art Prison, an ongoing project in which an artist gets invited to come and make a stencilprinted book at Knust/Extrapool.‘Drawjin’ shows the visual dialogue between the dynamic glitch-like collages and drawings of Mathias and Thomas. The book contains bigger and smaller pages, interspersed throughout the whole book, so new drawing combinations can be made while browsing through the pages. There is no front or back in this book, which make for a continuous rhythm of drawings and collages. It is stencil-printed in multiple colours and bound with fluor pink coloured staples.

Mathias Forbach and Thomas Koenig are based in Vevey, Switzerland. They both work independent as an artist and work together under the name of ‘Themes’. Their joint projects relate to street art and non-hierarchical fine art. Mathias works as a graphic designer/illustrator and teacher. Thomas works as a fine artist focusing on new ways of drawing and installations and is co-founder of the Rats Collectif.
