This publication is the result of a remote collaboration between Knust, Extrapool, Knuckles & Notch (Singapore) and Maia Matches (Amsterdam). The project Moving Dots, Speaking About Dots started by Knust/Extrapool facilitates the collaboration between dutch based illustrators and Asian based stencil printing studios.
The exchange between Maia Matches and Knuckles & Notch studio suggested the latter to experiment with the comic format introducing Summer, a cat with a zest for life who is met with a deeply unsettling question about the world and her existence after the death of her pet goldfish. Maia accompanied this story with slogans, borrowing characters from pop culture and Bitch, her alter-ego who is always ready to make justice by her own means.
Will these two characters find a solution to restoring the natural state of the world and to reverse environmental and ethical destruction?
